Jeremy:It was brilliant! Had to change to a weekend as weather midweek in school holidays was too windy and next school hols. are end of September (too many thermals then). The flight lasted 1 1/2 hours under clear blue skies and no wind at all. We flew in company with another balloon so plenty of photo opportunities. Bubbly and chocs on landing, followed by a cooked breakky in Strathalbyn. FANTASTIC. Many thanks, Jeremy.

Romana: This activity is VERY weather dependent. We had around half a dozen cancellations before we actually got to go up in the balloon. So book it in ahead of time for Autumn, before you're in the middle of Winter cos the good days to go up become far between! SO worth it once you get up there though. So peaceful and beautiful, no engine noises, such a different experience!! We absolutely loved it!! :)

Richard and Heather: We had a lovely experience. From start to finish. The staff were both professional and friendly and helpful at the same time, covering health and safety issues, answering questions, and giving information. The experience was awesome, I couldn't imagine the feeling of floating above the world, the wondering of "where will we land" in the gully?, in the trees?, and the landing itself so gentle. We felt so safe the whole time, even leaning over and looking underneath, waving to our families, no feelings of fear of heights, Ian was so calm and confident, the whole experience was very special.
Emma: We absolutely loved it. The crew were fantastic and very friendly. The balloon ride was amazing, so smooth and such beautiful views. The whole experience from the cool early morning start, helping with set up of the 'envelope' (balloon), the ride, the champagne and chocolates after landing, pack up and finally a yummy cooked breakfast, was awesome! I highly recommend Goldrush Ballooning to anyone thinking of doing this.
